Which rules and regulations, do you find irritating?Several rules are to protect, but many just seem to be there to make it easier for the government, to do its work. For example keeping the books is good practice for an enterprise, especially as it becomes bigger and bigger. But keeping your books the way the government wants, is just laziness, by the government. Or it should be so, that my taxes would be done faster by following the government rules. An example of strange Dutch rules, is the number of clients you must have as a freelancer. You need at least three clients to be deemed self employed, else your client needs to pay for your social benefits. So having one client with a large project is impossible, because that means your client has to pay your social benefits also. Or you need to make sure, that your client with the big project is willing to stretch it a few months, so you can take on other clients or he has to take you on as an employee.Do you have examples of strange rules?
