Event management seems to be something rather easy to do, as long as you haven't organized a large event yourself, even with the support of a professional event organizer. I heard from a friend who organized such an international Internet event in Luxembourg. It was a hell of a job of finding more than 500 hotel rooms, get lunches, organize travel, get translation in many languages, have a correct internet network etc. The most important part of the project was the budget and his follow up. It's necessary to have it established before the start of the event, but even more important to have a correct follow up of the expenditures before, during and after the event. Does someone have a good experience with event organizers ? Luxe
