If you’re a European entrepreneur looking to find others on the same path, the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, known as YES, is an excellent place to start.
According to YES’s website, more than sixteen major national associations of young entrepreneurs throughout Europe are full members and participate in YES activities. This totals more than 40.000 young entrepreneurs in the fields of industry, trade and services.
YES stresses that each and every national association maintains it’s own by-laws and rules. YES simply wants to help unite a large group of entrepreneurs with different goals and focuses under one umbrella.
To be a member, you have to be less than 40 years of age. According to YES, this European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs “aims at improving the economic and social performance of European entrepreneurship. Its members include the major national associations of young entrepreneurs in the field of industry, trade and services from 16 countries (Albania, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine).” Quite simply, “YES contributes to the promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe".
