A conversation with... Raphael Dana
Swiss entrepreneur Raphael Dana is co-founder and CEO of Publibrands S.A. a Geneva-based publisher of high-end lifestyle and finance magazines. They currently publish four magazines, Market, Market500, In Town, and Sur la Terre, which is published in over 20 local editions in cities around the world.
Before founding Publibrands in 2002, Dana created one of Switzerland’s first internet companies, which he co-founded in 1995, at the age of 22, and eventually grew into a company of over 100 employees. He sold that company in 2001. He is also a founder of the Geneva chapter of EO (Entrepreneurs Organisation) a global association of young entrepreneurs with enterprises that turn over more than 1 million US dollars (or the equivalent) annually.
Dana splits his time between Geneva and New York, where he has recently launched the latest edition of Sur la Terre.
